This is an original design of SMALLRIG Baseplate for Blackmagic URSA Mini Camera 1909

Designer: Yetta White

SMALLRIG Baseplate for Blackmagic URSA Mini Camera 1909 is a quick release baseplate that provides lightweight 15mm rod support at the correct lens height. 15mm rods pass through front to back and have two locking thumbscrews per side. This ensures an access to mount lens support, follow focus and matte box. The mounting of URSA Mini original extension arm or ARRI standard extension arm is perfect for shoulder-mounted shooting. The baseplate is comprised of three detachable parts: Arca Quick Release Plate, Quick Release Base and Shoulder Mount. The shoulder mount part can slide forwards and backwards to keep the whole device balance, so you don’t need to move your camera again. Additionally, this shoulder mount tail comes with multiple 1/4’’ threads for adding additional accessories when necessary. The bottom of the baseplate features the Lower Quick Dovetail which can attach directly to ARRI Dovetails Plate.

    Awesome Idea

Absolutely loving this revised split design that you guys have come up with! My only desire would be to see you use the bubbled memory foam pad style that you are using for 1954. A softer shoulder pad is my number one desire for these shoulder pads. Oh also may I suggest moving the locking location for the shoulder pad section on the ARCA plate close to the front so it can be moved further back as rarely would the plate have to come in from the back.
