great service again

This was my second order at CoolLcd and again I was pleased about the speed of delivery and the good communication. I received the items today and already briefly tested the 569HO monitors. Again unbeatable price/quality ratio, like with the 7 inch models which I had ordered earlier this year and enjoy much. Only problem so far is that I can't figure out how to flip the screen on the 5 inch models (need this for special purpose).

Things to consider

I have had this monitor for about a week and here are some thoughts. Dose not have any mount on top which is more practical than the left and right sides. It will not display the image over the full screen in monitor or recording mode. It leaves about 10-15% of the frame empty making it feel very small and not that much bigger than the 7D's own monitor. The buttons take a while to react so you often are double pressing them and getting mixed up. I also am having a hard time getting the color to match the monitor and camera properly. I also had a horrible experience with shipping with DHL in Cananda. They were completely unprofessional and incompetent. I had to drive across the city the day of the shoot and pick it up at the airport because they were not able to deliver the package to my house or office. I also had to pay an extra $15 customs. I do like the sun hood, but wish it folded in to protect the screen. The HDMI out works good, i used it on a 42in lcd as a director monitor. I am using two 550 batteries and they last long enough. I would not recommend the 970 as it will add a lot of weight and will make using a cine arm or hot shoe adapter tough. I would recommend this for the price but would consider the ruige monitors and their features next time.
