Hi just about to receive my hdmi splitter - so this is not a review, but a possible solution to making this splitter portable (without being plugged in to the wall). Could you: use a USB to 5v cable (to the splitter) and then attach the cable to a little portable USB output battery box that takes AA batteries (i've seen some that take 4 x AA) and then use velco to keep all boxes together. All these items would cost you less than US$10m on ebay.
